Anyone know some college themed dramas?
All you the sites you find on Google for "best college themed movies" list a bunch of frat-house party comedies. I want something serious, in the vain of Good Will Hunting and Dead Poet’s Society. Films with more of an academic tip than sports oriented. Sport themed ones are ok I guess if I’m not getting enough academic themed ones. Movies with some comic-relief are cool too but, ya know, just not frat-boy/partying crap. (Animal House/PCU, etc). I want them to be inspiring!

This is just for me, to get inspired about college!! or vicariously pretend I’m there already

Renee: Pickings might be slim so I’ll go for high-school ones too. Rules Of Attraction, really? Seems just like some dark miserable crap to me (from the trailers I’ve seen. I’m familiar Bret Easton Ellis, he’s good but dark isn’t what I’m going for. Inspiring is. Character driven stuff)
